13th October 2020 - 13 dad's create a WhatsApp group and start to discuss about using football to provide support to anyone following the loss of a baby or child.
15th October 2020 - The first official meeting of the group which is now known as Angels United takes place.
25th October 2020 - We play their first game raising funds for the Lullaby trust in a fetching orange kit, Adam Mallaney scores the first goal in Angels United History.
30th November 2020 - We secure a microfund from Manchester Soup with one of our cofounders pitching to a group on a team’s call in his spare room.
25th January 2021 - We take delivery of our first ever kit, which has since turned into our worldwide known pink and blue.
23rd March 2021 - A deal is agreed for Seel Park the home of Mossley AFC to become the home of Angels United on and off the pitch.
7th April 2021 - We return to running our weekly support sessions following the COVID restrictions, 22 turn up from the initial 13.
17th April 2021 - We play our first game in our pink and blue kits.
15th May 2021 - We get our first win on the pitch a 6-1 victory over Infinity Initiatives at the famous Lumb Lane, co-founder Sam Fallows scores Angels United first hattrick but misses out on the man of the match award.
17th July 2021 - We come together with Friends Of Frankie to play the first Frankie Grogan Memorial Trophy Game. A great day on and off the pitch raising awareness and funds.
2nd October 2021 - Manchester United feature us in their matchday program to help us raise awareness.
10th October 2021 - We come together with Sands United Stockport for the first annual Baby Loss Awareness Trophy game, we don't win but the impact of the game is huge.
11th October 2021 - 3 of our Dad's speak openly and honestly about why they are members of Angels Untied for an amazing feature that goes out on BBC North West
12th October 2021 - The same feature is picked up by BBC Breakfast and another of our members speaks on Radio 5 Live about what it is we are doing.
13th October 2021 - A story is published in The Sun newspaper telling 3 of our dad's stories and helping to #BreakTheSilence.
12th December 2021 - We host our first bereavement support coffee morning.
23rd January 2022 - We make a donation of £500 to both The Believer And Achieve Trust & The Little Comforts Trust.
29th April 2022 - We launch our first annual #BreakTheSilence tournament.
3rd July 2022 - We host our first #BreakTheSilence tournament and are joined by 9 other teams from around the country.
24th July 2022 - We win our first trophy on the pitch, taking home the Frankie Grogan Memorial Trophy on penalties.
28th August 2022 - A local pub The Mason Arms host a fundraising event for us and raise a sensation £4254.00.
22nd September 2022 - We remove subs or signing on fees from Angels United, making everything we offer free to those that reach out.
24th September 2022 - We play #BreakTheSilence on the cricket pitch, playing our first game and somehow getting a win against Stalybridge Cricket Club.
19th April 2023 - We launch our YouTube channel
14th May 2023 - We launch our new kit and welcome new sponsors and partners into the Angels United family.
21st May 2023 - We join Holly's Hearts on the pitch for the first time, at the same time 4 of our dads are interviewed for an ITV feature.
15th June 2023 - The ITV interviews go out telling 4 dad's stories of why they are members of the club no one wishes they where.
19th August 2023 - We travel over to Hull as a family to take part in a baby loss tournament hosted by Sands United HEY.
4th November 2023 - We win Community Sports Project Of The Year are the Manchester Sports Awards
7th January 2024 - We host our first Angels United vs Angels United friendly game, Angels United are victorious.
22nd February 2024 - Our kits are discussed and featured on Good Morning Sports Fans on Sky Sports News.
7th March 2024 - An interview goes out with one of our cofounders on Japanese national television, breaking the silence internationally.
8th March 2024 - We win the Manchester Be Proud Award for supporting mental health and wellbeing.
14th April 2024 - We are represented by two dad's in the Manchester Marathon, both wearing our pink and blue to complete the race.
1st June 2024 - We host out second #BreakTheSilence tournament 10 teams travelling as far away as Brighton to join us on and off the pitch.
13th October 2024 - We win the Baby Loss Awareness Trophy for the first time, coming from 3-1 down to win 5-3 against Sands United Hey lifting the trophy for the first time at Seel Park.
